For anyone driving a goods vehicle with a permissible maximum mass of more than 2.8 up to 3.5 tonnes. Under § 1 (6) FPersV, a daily record sheet must be kept for every working day. Vehicles over 3.5 t with a tachograph are not covered by the app.

On the home screen, under “Start day”, tap your first activity, for example “Driving”. Then confirm the starting place and odometer reading. From now on you switch activities with a single tap and the 24‑hour grid keeps running.

Tap “End day”, enter the place where the journey ends and the odometer reading, and sign the sheet on the screen. The app calculates the total distance for you.

Below the “Start day” card you will find “Add past day”. Enter the date and times by hand there. For a day off, “Rest day today” is enough.

Yes. Recording, signing, the inspection view and exports all work fully offline. Only the place lookup via the location icon needs a connection, and you can always type the place by hand.

Tap “Check” at the top of the home screen. The view shows the current day and the previous 56 calendar days and is read‑only, so nothing can be changed during the inspection. “Share period as PDF” sends the whole period to the officer via AirDrop, mail or printer.

Yes. Every change is recorded in the change log with time, old and new value. The sheet then has to be signed again.

The app automatically splits the day across two sheets. The current activity continues on the new sheet.

Yes, under “More” → Default signature. It is then suggested whenever you finish a day.

No. TK-Digital replicates the official form from Annex 1 FPersV, but it is not a government product and not approved by the BALM. Drivers and companies remain responsible for complete and correct records.

PDF (single sheet or date range with cover page), Excel (XLSX with the sheets “Days” and “Times”), CSV and a JSON backup containing all data, signatures and the change log.

All data lives only on your iPhone. So create a backup (JSON) regularly under “More” → Export, plus the PDFs. Store the files in the Files app or iCloud Drive, for example.

All sheets on the device are deleted. There is no copy on a server. Please export all sheets as PDF and as a backup first.

In iOS Settings under Notifications → TK-Digital, check that notifications are allowed, and in the app under “More” → Notifications, check that the reminder you want is switched on. Reminders are scheduled on the device and arrive even when the app is closed.

Only to suggest the place name for the start or end of a journey when you tap the location icon. Your location is never requested in the background.
